As a Cancerian born in Brooklyn and raised in Manhattan, I always had a sense of displacement growing up. For the most part of my life, I really never understood why I felt and perceived the way I did. One thing I knew for sure was that my family loved and supported me as I was. They enriched my life with Christianity infused, with what Spiritual New Age refers to as, Dominican Vodu/Shamanism or simply The 21 Divisions - a religion derived from Africa.

At the age four, I was introduced to ballet and have explored diverse dance forms throughout my life. Lest I say more, dance is a passion. In 2002 I graduated with a  B.B.A. from Iona University and completed half of the M.B.A. program in Business Administration with a concentration in Public Health Management at the University of Phoenix. Currently, I hold a first-degree black belt in traditional Korean Taekwondo; this experience has given me a profound understanding of how the deep internal aspects of various forms of Martial Arts complement breath and energy work which optimizes the body’s wellness in all aspects. My passion for the healing arts, spirituality, and all forms of body movement are exhibited as you interact with me.

I am an Intuitive Healer, Psychic Medium and Channel; rooted in ancestral tradition. Although  born with certain talents, others have resurfaced through my own healing  journey. At Omega Institute for Holistic Studies, I became a certified Shamanic and Usui Reiki Master, trained under the esteemed Usui lineage. As an Ordained Minister I offer Spiritual counsel to those seeking guidance. Guided by my unique interpretation of the hero's journey, I empathetically and skillfully guide others toward their own source of light, inner healing, and teach individuals how to cultivate peace and harmony and infuse inspiration into the lives of those I touch.

Sekinah’s Touch launched in 2022 as a platform dedicated to the healing arts aimed to cultivate spiritual awareness in humanity. As a business-woman, I relate to the stresses and strains faced in daily life and provide tools to overcome not only work-related issues but also mental and emotional health related problems. I began working with people who carried their own pain—veterans haunted by trauma, women crushed by expectation, and individuals who had been silenced by life. I don’t fix people—I hold space for their energy to flow again, for their bodies to remember their innate wisdom, and for their hearts to feel safe enough to speak. Today, I help people who feel stuck, broken, or disconnected find their way back to wholeness. Because I’ve lived it. I’ve lost myself—and I’ve found my way home. And now, I help others do the same.

Blessings and love,

Sekinah Rose
